For my Master's Capstone Project, I focused on how handlettering can be used in modern advertising. More specifically, I integrated unconventional mediums specific to the industries for which I was designed these hypothetical ads. For the lawn and garden industry, I created handlettering with wildflower seeds. For the health food grocery industry, I used rice, beans and Himalayan pink sea salt. I also wanted to bring an aspect of awareness into these ads, so I used messages professing the often overlooked mental health benefits of gardening and cooking.
