Hi!
I'm Megan, and I'm an all-around creative with a wealth of experience in editorial direction, management, writing, design, and marketing. My journey began in the bitterly cold North Woods of Maine, where I was born. However, I had the privilege of growing up in Ohio and on a breathtaking Caribbean island, St. Croix.
After completing my BA in business and marketing from the University of the Virgin Islands, I embarked on a unique path. For a few years, I worked as a 911 dispatcher, diligently ensuring the safety and well-being of others. During my spare time, I indulged in my creative pursuits, honing my skills in drawing, photography, and relaxing on the beach.
Driven by a desire for personal growth and new opportunities, I made the decision to return to Ohio and pursue a career change, which began with the attainment of my MA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University. This equipped me with a deeper understanding of the intricacies of design and communication, expanding my creative horizons even further.
Since then, I have worked in various editorial, marketing and design capacities, and believe in the power of creativity to inspire, connect, and transform. I am constantly seeking new avenues to push boundaries and challenge myself. I enjoy exploring creative ventures and collaborating with like-minded individuals who share a passion for pushing the limits of imagination.
Currently, I reside just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I savor the serenity of our quaint historic town alongside my scientist husband and our two fierce little toddlers.
